Music Production
As an accomplished singer, songwriter and producer Colin Roy uses his expertise and recording studio facility to arrange and record your demo song, providing you with a CD with your finished work.

Vocal Tuition
Students are taught diaphragmatic breathing, scales, vocal placement, extension of range, tone, posture, blending of head and chest voice, harmonizing, diction and the general techniques of singing.

Music and Performing Arts Courses
From his extensive experience in music and theatre, Colin is actively involved in working with schools, colleges, charity and church groups to provide students of varying ages with a practical introduction into Music and the Performing Arts. The course covers vocal tuition, microphone techniques, stage presence, improvisation skills and the art of performance and dance.

A showcase is produced at the end of each term to allow students to perform to a live audience. Throughout the course, students are recorded to assist their confidence and comprehension of performance. The students work with musicians as well as recorded material and have sessions with a choreographer. Students have the opportunity to attend concerts and also London West End theatre shows where they can visit backstage; this is especially helpful for those who develop an interest in the technical or various behind the scene roles in Music and the Performing Arts.

Colin was a mentor to students undertaking their NVQ National Diploma in Technical Theatre, they successfully attained passes with distinction and have been employed in leading shows and major theatres.

Team Mentality
As a performer it is essential to work as part of a team. As well as recognizing and developing individual ability, the course is designed for students to learn to work together as an integrated unit.
